Happy New Year! It is our first blog of 2022 and time is passing too quickly. We first started blogging back in 2019 – luckily we have no plans to stop this year. Let’s explore the topic of working two jobs, some call it a “side hustle”. We researched the majority of workers feel that they have been forced to take on a second job to find ways to top up their monthly income.

The Side Hustle Boom
COVID-19 lockdowns have caused a global boom in the number of full-time employees taking on side hustles. According to the latest survey by the UK’s leading independent job board, CV-Library, a staggering 3 out of 5 (61.3%) UK professionals are unhappy with their current salary.
In a poll of 1,200 full-time UK employees, conducted by CV-Library, concluded more than one in 10 (16 per cent) admitted to taking on jobs on the side, the findings show that rather than taking up a side job for fun, the majority were being forced to find other ways to top up their monthly income.
It’s tough enough getting through a full working week, let alone while working two jobs. We can empahise with the pressure of earning and the cost of inflation however people could be putting themselves in serious risk of burnout.
Let’s be clear…
